Frequently Asked Questions
Is my photo or video uploaded anywhere?
No — pose detection happens right in your browser. Only the resulting body-position numbers get sent to our server; your photo or video itself never leaves your device.
Do you store my data?
No. There are no accounts and no database — nothing about you or your measurements is saved after you get your result.
Where does the Saddle Height number come from?
The LeMond/Hinault formula (inseam × 0.883). One exception: kids' bikes don't use this formula at all — saddle height is set by a touchdown/standover safety check instead.
How is my target riding position calculated?
Each discipline has a typical torso-angle range based on general bike-fit convention. If you pick a Riding Position Level and Flexibility, we narrow that into a band personalized for you — this part is our own engineering judgment, not sourced from an external reference.
Where does Reach come from?
Reach is estimated from torso length × 0.48 + arm length × 0.32 — treat it as a rough starting point, not a precise target.
How accurate is this?
It's a starting point, not a replacement for a professional bike fit — always double-check and fine-tune on the actual bike.
Do I need to enter every measurement?
Only Height, Inseam, and Discipline are required — everything else is optional and just improves accuracy.
